Forensic Crime Laboratory Open House

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is hosting forensic open houses where participants will learn about the ten (10) different forensic disciplines of the FDLE laboratory system. This event is designed to provide a general understanding of forensics and the expectations of working in the laboratory.

These events are offered three (3) times a year: just before the start of the fall term, winter break, and during spring break. Specific dates are provided as they become available. Students must be in their second year of school to participate in the open house.

Participation is limited and not every regional laboratory will host the events during each timeframe.
