2026 FCS Mentor Application

Apply to be a Mentor

The FCS is thrilled to offer our formal mentoring program to members in good standing. This program gives you the opportunity to provide 1:1 mentoring to a fellow professional in marketing, media and communications. To qualify for participation, you must be a current FCS member when applying, and you must maintain that membership throughout 2026.

If you are not currently an FCS member and want to participate, please go to www.thefcs.org to renew your membership or email Juliet McAlee, juliet@thefcs.org. Mentoring pairings are based on the number of qualified applicants and pairing compatibility (and not a guarantee of placement).

The program requirement is one hour per month for meeting with your mentee (in-person or virtual).

We will announce the pairings of mentors and mentees on Wednesday, January 19, with a group kick-off meeting (virtual) set for Monday, January 26.

As a mentor in the FCS Mentoring Program, I pledge to spend one (1) hour per month or a total of 12 hours (plus preparation & scheduling) with my mentee from January 2026 - December 2026. I understand and accept that a pairing may not exactly match my request; however, I still would like to participate as a mentor.(Required.)
