About This Survey
Boulder County is exploring potential Land Use Code updates to better support the range of agricultural workforce housing needs being expressed by our agricultural community. This survey will help us better understand those needs and the housing realities of agricultural operations across the county and identify practical changes and housing solutions that may help. Information may also be used by community organizations working to develop or fund housing solutions.
This survey is intended for people who own or run a farm or ranch business and either hire agricultural workers or face housing challenges themselves as an owner/operator. You do not need to own the land where you farm or ranch to participate.
If you own agricultural land but lease it to someone else who runs the farm or ranch business, this survey is not intended for you. There will be other opportunities for to share ideas and feedback as part of this project.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Your survey responses are anonymous, and all answers will be kept confidential. If you would like to stay involved or be contacted as this project continues, you will have the option to provide your contact information at the end of the survey. Providing contact information is completely optional.
The survey will be available until October 30, 2026.
