A community coalition that includes the MetroWest Health foundation, as well as a number of community organizations, school and public health departments, is working to decrease youth vaping in the MetroWest region. We need your input to better understand the best way to reach families and to offer you the most relevant information on this topic. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes.
According to the 2016 MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey, 28% of MetroWest high school students and 6% of middle school students had tried vaping at some point in their lives and over 50% of high school youth do not believe it is harmful. Vaping products contain nicotine, which is highly addictive, and produce an aerosol containing harmful chemicals (not water vapor).
