Thank you for sharing your interest in supporting Keystone’s Family Engagement Committee!

At Keystone, we define family engagement as an ongoing process that includes families as active decision makers and equal partners in service delivery at individual, organizational and system levels.

We are currently looking for families from Grey/Bruce who have lived-experience supporting a child or youth with mental health and would like to volunteer a few hours a month with our family engagement committee. Do you:

Have a passion for mental health awareness and sharing your experiences to help create a better system for other families?
Want to learn more about advocacy or supporting system change in the children’s mental health sector?

If so, you may want to help us with our family engagement committee!

This can be done independently or you can request that one of our engagement team members walks through this with you.

Accessibility is the concept of whether an activity can be accessed in whatever way works best for the individual. This may include visual (e.g., blindness), Motor/mobility (e.g., wheelchair-user), Auditory (hearing difficulties), biological (e.g., Asthma), Learning/Cognitive (e.g., dyslexia) etc. Flagging these needs helps our team ensure that resources and activities are accessible to everyone.
