The U. S. WIN Professional Development (PD) Committee is hosting a 3-Part Webinar Series on ‘Thinking Courageously’ to expose and equip U.S. WIN Members in 3 critical areas required to lead successfully in this dynamic change environment. The fall webinar is being sponsored by Wolf Creek NOC and will cover the final installment - Pursuing our Best Selves:  The Holy Grail  of Leadership and our greatest gift to the world.

In this third webinar of the 3 part series ‘Developing Leaders to Successfully Navigate Change’ we will explore tools, disciplines and resources for pursuing our ‘best selves’. There is no ‘I’ in ‘Team’ but there is an ‘M’ and an ‘E’.  In order to lead and contribute most greatly we must know ourselves.  Each of us brings a unique set of skills, talents, passions and way of thinking to the world.  This rich diversity is essential to innovation and growth.  Learning what we need to maintain our physical, emotional and mental health is not a luxury or being ’self-centered’.   It is the core of successful leadership.  What fuels me?  What depletes me?  What do I want from life? Who will hold me accountable and stand for my greatness?  We can’t give people what we don’t have.  The most effective way to develop a healthy staff and company - is to start with yourself.

The other two webinars have covered these critical areas:

1) Perspective:  How Seeking Clarity Builds Trust Based Environments Where Conflict is the Access to Improvement.  November 10, 2015.  Resources available on-line.

2) Our Internal Dialogue: Friend or Foe- What We Choose to Think - Affects Everything.  April 13, 2016.  Resources available on-line.

The webinar will be hosted by INPO.  Only 200 call lines are available.  As a result, the PD Committee encourages U.S. WIN members to meet as chapters or in groups to participate in the webinar.  Please register by close of business on September 15, 2016.  Call in instructions will be provided to registered participants September 16, 2016.

Please email the U.S. WIN PD Committee at ProfDvmt@winus.org if you have any questions.
