FAIB SOCIO-ECONOMIC ENQUIRY 2019
The FAIB is the Federation of European & International associations ((I)NPAs) established in Belgium, created in 1949.
Its main objectives are:

•    Take all possible initiatives to encourage European and International Associations to be established and remain in Belgium;
•    To study, further and defend the interests of its members vis-a-vis third parties, notably public bodies;
•    To obtain official legal recognition of associations and associative movement by Belgian, European and international authorites;
•    To help obtain every possible measure to facilitate members’ activities.

Since several years - on a five-year basis - the FAIB carries out an extensive survey to assess the socio-economic value of European & International not-for-profit associations (INPAs) operating in Belgium. This unique source of reliable data is a valuable tool to demonstrate the weight of INPAs towards Brussels, Belgian and European authorities and obtain their recognition of the contribution of INPAs to the general economy.

We therefore welcome the largest possible response from INPAs (whether or not member of the FAIB) and thank you in advance for your input. All data received will be treated in the strictest confidentiality; individual responses will not be disclosed.

Replying to this survey will take approximately 30 minutes; you can skip the questions to which you do not have an immediate answer and come back to the survey afterwards.

We recommend that you read the entire questionnaire first to prepare the answers that require some research (reverting to the start by using the back button) and remember to save the page before moving onto the next one and before exiting. Your answers are essential to prove the credibility of the survey; please respond to as many questions as you can - even if not in detail; the questionnaire was developed to allow partial responses or no response to a given question.

We welcome your input by Monday 24 JUNE 2019 at the very latest. The results will be available in electronic form on FAIB’s website and a paper executive summary can be obtained by filling in an email address in the relevant question.

The survey team would like to thank you already for your positive response; please do not hesitate to contact the FAIB team for any query.
