A Community Survey on Transportation made possible by a grant from Berkshire Taconic Community Fdtn

Age Friendly Berkshires, a coalition movement coordinated by Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, is working with communities including Councils on Aging, to make our region more “livable”, by filling gaps in essential services so that growing up and growing old is a little bit easier for everyone.

This survey is part a Community Conversation on the ride needs/preferences to necessary appointments for older adults age 60+, those living with disabilities of any age and non-drivers.  “Necessary appointments” are those for work, non-emergency medical visits, to obtain food, to volunteer, to make nursing home visits, to go to a laundromat, haircut, or other personal service.
