"COME JOIN US!  We need your input!"

The purpose of the Statewide Equity Cafes is to share data, discuss racial equity, examine the State’s Professional Development System, and receive information from parents, teachers, administrators, and others in the early childhood field on ways to improve teacher competencies and access to early childhood education for our most vulnerable children, African American males birth to age five.

Arkansas’ vision for a comprehensive, racially equitable, high-quality early childhood system is one that ensures that all children have an opportunity to develop and reach their full potential, without experiencing discrimination or bias.
