Last year 1,325 forest fires charred 275,000 hectares of land in Ontario. Both Northbay 69 near Temagami and the NorthBay72 Lady Evelyn cluster fire were particularly close to the Timiskaming district.

Build an Emergency Preparedness Kit

Create an Evacuation Plan in case of community evacuation.

Ask municipality for more information/support about community evacuation.
