Thank you for taking time to nominate a public employee for the 2018 Excellence in Public Service Award. Please provide a response to each question in the space allotted, no attachments are allowed. Nominations must be received by the Wichita City Manager’s Office, Sedgwick County Manager’s Office, or the Wichita Public Schools Strategic Communications Office no later than 5 p.m., Feb. 23, 2018.
The Excellence in Public Service Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding work performance as well as service to the community. To be eligible, the nominee must be an employee of the City of Wichita, Sedgwick County or Wichita Public Schools. Employees who were previously nominated, but did not win, may be nominated again.
The nomination form should include specific examples of the exemplary performance of the nominee both in work duties and in community volunteer service. The selection committee will judge only the submitted material on the nomination form to make its decision.
