The European Observatory of Online Hate

The European Observatory of Online Hate (EOOH) is an European Union funded project that created an AI-powered platform dedicated to identifying (illegal) online hate speech across all 22 EU languages, plus Arabic and Russian. By supporting real-time tracking and reporting of harmful content on both mainstream and fringe online platforms, EOOH offers a vital resource in the fight for safer, more inclusive digital spaces.

When hate and AI are talked about in the same sentence, it is usually with regard to its dangerous role in the proliferation of harmful content. But AI is also a tool that can be used to support efforts to fight back against hate. This online event will bring together experts from the European Observatory of Online Hate with other organisations using cutting-edge AI tools in their daily work.

Our moderators and panelists will include representatives from Violence Prevention Network, Dare to be Grey, the International Network Against Cyber Hate (INACH) and the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm.
Join us on the 28th January 2026, at 15:00 CET to hear from expert panelists on the current hate-landscape, and the ways in which AI tooling can help combat hate-speech online.
