The NYCDOE’s Office of Postsecondary Readiness is excited to host the first annual Summer Enrichment Programs Fair, Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 12-4pm at New York Public Library (476 Fifth Avenue @42nd Street ).

This fair is part of the College Exploration Month, a citywide effort to raise awareness about the importance of supporting students to identify career interests and learn about postsecondary path needed to pursue those careers. Students and families will be able to learn about summer activities, programs and employment opportunities available locally.  In addition, we will offer career planning workshops to help students prepare for the world of work.  

Workshop Schedule

12:30-1:15pm Crafting a Professional Resume and Digital Presence 
1:30pm-2:15pm Skills to Pay the Bills: Mastering Skills for Workplace Success
2:30pm-3:30pm Which Careers Match My Interests?

The Fair is free and open to the public. All high schools students (grades 9-12) and families are invited to attend. Groups welcome! If you have any questions, please contact Kristen Harris at kharris19@schools.nyc.gov.
