Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for Fieldwork Participant Information Bring Your Own DeviceThe concept of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is the idea that an individual makes use of their personally owned technological device (e.g. smartphone or tablet computer) in a workplace or educational setting, rather than using an institution-owned device to perform work or education related tasks. What is the purpose of the study? We are interested in the concept of BYOD to support in teaching and learning activities in Higher Education fieldwork. Therefore, as part of the Enhancing Fieldwork Learning project, we are researching how and why practitioners use BYOD to support learning during fieldwork and whether any barriers exist. We are also interested in the opinions of practitioners who have not used BYOD for fieldwork to gain an understanding of their perceptions.Who is organising and funding this researchThe research is being funded by the British Ecological Society and conducted by the Enhancing Fieldwork Learning team Who may I contact for further information?
