Following Local Government reforms, a Community Engagement Charter has been introduced to provide guidance on how councils consult and engage with their communities.

Council is required to have a Community Engagement Policy to guide how community feedback is sought and to ensure people have meaningful opportunities to participate in Council decision-making.

To help inform the Community Engagement Policy, we have developed this simple survey to understand how you currently engage with Council and how we can improve the way we communicate and provide opportunities for community participation.

Your feedback will enable Council to understand which engagement methods work best and how we can continue to improve opportunities for the community to have their say.

Your completed survey and/or written submission must be received by Council by 10am on Monday, 18 May 2026.
