The Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA National) is helping a Norwegian researcher who is looking into hare management techniques around the world.
Jon Barikmo has worked in around 12 countries across Europe, Asia, South America and North America as a part of this work. He has been a member of the Association for Hunters and Anglers in Norway for more than 30 years.
While in Australia later this year, Jon is hoping to speak to and visit with hare hunters. He is interested in hare management, traditions, social activities, and special events linked to hunting.
