EMS World and the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT) established the National EMS Awards of Excellence program to recognize outstanding achievement in the EMS profession.

As part of this program, EMS World Magazine presents two awards:

•  Dick Ferneau Career EMS Service of the Year sponsored by Ferno, which recognizes outstanding performance by a paid EMS service.
•  ZOLL Volunteer EMS Service of the Year sponsored by ZOLL, which recognizes outstanding performance by a volunteer EMS service.

The Awards honor agencies for their dedication, teamwork and commitment to EMS. Award recipients receive $1,000, three EMS World Expo core program registrations, plus $1,200 for travel and lodging at the EMS World Expo/NAEMT Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, NV, October 16–20, 2017, where the award will be presented. Award recipients will also be profiled in the October 2017 issue of EMS World Magazine.

Agencies MUST submit agency photos as part of their application package. Please e-mail images directly to editor@EMSWorld.com indicating the agency name and date the entry form was completed.
