Restaurant Association snapshot survey - changes to employer-assisted visas

A new approach to employer-assisted work visas and regional workforce planning has been proposed by the Government, outlined in Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s Consultation discussion paper. This is one of the biggest changes we have ever seen proposed for employer-assisted work visas. The change involves introducing a more regionalised approach to skill shortages, employer accreditations and increased costs for employers.
