Emerging Leader Award Nomination Form

Established in 2012, this award honors an SSP member who has worked in the scholarly communication field for roughly 1 to 10 years and has demonstrated their potential through exceptional service, contributions to an SSP committee or task force, and innovative contributions to their field. The award will be announced and presented at the SSP Annual Meeting.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Is an SSP member in good standing.
  • Began working in the scholarly communication field within approximately the last 1-10 years.
  • Has demonstrated leadership abilities on an SSP committee or task force.
Nomination Process
Any SSP member may submit a nomination packet proposing a candidate for the SSP Emerging Leader Award. Self-nominations are welcome. Note: Please do not submit a nomination packet unless the candidate has consented to the nomination.
