Morven Solar Farm - Community Survey

Elgin Energy is planning the Morven Solar Farm - a proposed Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located around 11km north of Gerogery. If the Project is approved, it would have the potential to power around 48,000 homes annually, and would help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 220,000 tonnes per year.

An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is currently being prepared for the Project by Mott MacDonald. Community input is an integral part of preparing each assessment and the EIS, and understanding how the Project can provide long-term benefits for the host community and region.

To help us to develop an informed understanding of community values, views and concerns, we encourage you to complete this survey. The survey will take around 5-10 minutes to complete. Any information you share, including your personal contact details, remain confidential and are not shared with parties outside of Elgin Energy and the sub-consultant responsible for carrying out the Social Impact Assessment for the Project.
