What you will learn:
The aim of these complementary therapy oncology qualifications are to give you a general understanding of what cancer is and how to proceed with treatments. You will learn how to work with clients who are or have been affected by cancer, you will know when to treat and treatment adaptation.
Class Format and Activities:
This course has an online module that will need to be completed before attending any practical sessions, this module will only need to be completed once before accessing any of the three oncology qualifications. You will attend 2 one day workshops, usually consecutive Saturdays where you will be expected to both give and receive a treatment. Following this you will need to complete and evaluate 12 treatments as case studies.
Entry requirements:
You will need to hold a recognised Level 3 Diploma in your discipline, insurance to practice and professional association membership, you also need to have a good understanding of English language. Please email copy of your qualifications to: education@themulberrycentre.co.uk
