The Virtual American Circus Educators Conference (EdCon) 2021 is an online event for professional development, community-building, and inspiration for circus educators.

We are focused on accepting the highest quality sessions possible, and ensuring that session descriptions are accurate. Please include very specific session titles and descriptions so that the content of your session is clear. (For instance: "Ageism - Why Age Bias Makes People Run Away from the Circus", or "Supporting Transgender and Gender Non-Confirming Youth in Circus", rather than "Inclusive Circus Talk").

We are only able to consider specific sessions in the application, and you must have a detailed title and description to be considered. Please do not submit only a broad idea for a topic without substantive details. This helps us to shape our programming to be as diverse and useful to the community as possible!

Please note:
  • All accepted presenters will be getting a fully complimentary ticket to the entire Virtual EdCon 2021 as compensation for participation.
  • New and returning presenters are welcome.
  • Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis.
  • If you are submitting multiple sessions, please use a separate form for each one.
  • By filling out this application you agree to provide a basic outline of your session and to collaborate with AYCO/ACE to ensure presentation standards.
