ENHANCING EU-EGYPT TRADE RELATIONS For Economic Operators only
Purpose of the questionnaire
The purpose of this questionnaire is to help prepare a study, including a set of recommendations and solutions, to improve the business climate in Egypt, and strengthen economic and trade relations between the EU and Egypt, within the context of the EU-Egypt Association Agreement.
Why respond to this survey?
This survey is being conducted by the international consulting company DMI in the framework of an EU-financed Partnership Instrument project. The results of this survey will allow:
1. To help business operators involved in EU-Egypt trade and investment exchanges to make full use of the facilities and advantages offered by the bilateral Trade Agreement.
2. To support governmental bodies in Egypt with the implementation of the EU-Egypt Trade Agreement.
3. To enhance EU-Egypt trade and investment and, in this way, foster their impact on growth.
4. To identify main challenges faced by private sector in relation to the implementation of the EU-Egypt Trade Agreement and highlight potential solutions aimed at helping those entities use the Agreement to its full potential.
In order to achieve the goals and actions set out by the EU-Egypt Free Trade Agreement, it is important to gather information from a variety of sources. This survey will allow stakeholders to have their voice heard and to optimise the impact of the Agreement.
Who should respond to this survey?
This survey should be completed by EU and Egyptian economic operators involved in bilateral trade and investment relations.
