East of the River Park Master Plan: Comments on Park Concepts
The East of River Park Master Plan
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is creating a new plan for all neighborhood parks East of the Mississippi River. We call this the East of the River Park Master Plan. The new plan will consider how parks are operated, maintained, and improved. It will include plans for all exterior facilities (ballfields, playgrounds, etc.) for each neighborhood park.
Based on 6-months of community input at events, online, through the Community Advisory Committee and the Youth Design Team, along with research around existing policies and plans, data about the parks, and park design innovation, MPRB has developed two concepts per park. We would like you to review both concepts for each park and let us know what you like or don't like about each design and why. Following a month of community input online and at events , our design team will will develop one preferred concept for each park, triangle and park connection, which will be a combination of the two park concepts presented in this survey.
