In light of continuing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, McCormick has decided to host Commencement 2021 virtually. However, graduates will have the opportunity to participate in an in-person Commencement 2021 Walk Thru Celebration event to pick up diplomas, the Masters level senior composite photo, and other gifts! Please note the graduation regalia (i.e. cap, gown and hood) will be made available to you at a later date.

The Commencement 2021 Walk Thru Celebration event will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 8th, shortly after the conclusion of the Commencement service. Please indicate whether you will participate in the walk thru event by submitting this survey no later than Saturday, May 1st. If you are unable to attend, your diploma and gifts will be mailed to the mailing address you provide below.

Instructions for graduates:

ENTRY:
Graduates who will be driving to McCormick will be directed to park in the underground garage and then guided towards the first floor via the west wing stair well (by Greenwood Avenue).
The elevator will be accessible for individuals  experiencing physical challenges.
Pedestrians will also be directed to enter the building via the Greenwood Avenue entrance.
Due to the importance of social distancing, guests accompanying graduates will not be able to enter the building. Guests are welcome to observe the procession through the glass windows of the Ender Lobby (in the McCormick-LSTC courtyard), though congregating in large groups should be avoided.

PROCESS:
Two stations will be set up in the Ender Lobby (outside of the Common room).
At these stations, graduates will pick up your diploma (station 1), take a photo with a McCormick officer (President, Dean or Asst. Dean) and collect your gift (station 2).
Graduates and guests must be masked at all times while on campus and especially inside the building and in the underground garage.

EXIT:
Graduates will exit via the stairs on the east wing (by University Avenue) to the underground garage.
McCormick staff will be stationed to direct graduates in and out of the garage.
