Through the generosity of our friends at posAbilities, the Diversity & Inclusion Fund was established. This fund was created to empower families and parents who are facing financial hardship to attend the annual Caregiver’s Retreat by offering bursaries towards the cost of registration.
 
Eligibility: 
  • Parents/Caregivers who are facing financial hardship
  • Ability to pay the portion not covered by the fund
Decision Process:
  • Please note that limited funds are available, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Decisions will be made by the Caregiver’s Retreat Facilitators, in collaboration with the Plan Institute Management team.

Please note the cost of the retreat is $325 for a single and $475 for a double.

We endeavour to use the available funds to assist as many families as possible and therefore prefer to provide partial bursaries. Therefore, you may not receive the full amount you requested. If there is a significant need, or in the event of a singular request, full registration bursaries may be considered.

As well, we will not cover the requests for spa treatments or ferry transportation or any additional costs that are for the participant.
