Study of Coming Out, Discrimination, Family, and Culture

You are invited to participate in a voluntary and anonymous online study conducted by Alexandra Keller, M.A., supervised by Lynn E. O’Connor, Ph.D. and Jack Berry, Ph.D.  In order to participate, you must be 18 years of age or older and identify as part of the LGBT community.  You will not be paid for your participation in this research study.

If you volunteer to participate, we will ask you to fill out a series of questionnaires and surveys.  The total length of time for completion is 20 to 25 minutes.  The surveys will ask you to examine your coming out experience and possible discrimination that you faced.

This study is voluntary.  If you volunteer to be in this study, you may withdrawal your participation at any time.  You may end your participation by closing your web browser, or by directing your web browser to another site.

You can refer back to our research group's web site at http://www.eparg.org.  The results of this study will be available by request when the research project has been completed.
