The Sands Diabetes Project - survey for healthcare professionals |
Thank you for your interest in the Sands Diabetes Project.
In this survey, we are gathering insights from UK healthcare professionals to learn more about what is working well in diabetes care linked to pregnancy and what needs to improve.
The next MBRRACE confidential enquiry will focus on pregnancy affected by diabetes. Our report from this work will be published in 2027 at the same time as the report from the national enquiry. This will ensure that the voices of bereaved parents and on-the-ground staff are heard alongside learning from clinical records.
Learning from this work will also feed into stakeholder event in 2027 where professionals will come together with bereaved parents to help drive change.
At the end of this survey, we ask for permission to use quotes from your answers, and whether you would like us to share updates about this project. If you have any questions, please email us at research@sands.org.uk.
Our support channels are here for anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death, for as long as needed. For more information visit: sands.org.uk/Support
