DART is currently evaluating a potential service change to facilitate all-day service on Merle Hay Road extending north to NW 70th to serve the Johnston Public Library, new housing in the area, and more businesses. However, in order to facilitate extending the route further north and adding the all-day service, the route would no longer be express along the freeway but would be combined with Local Route 5, traveling south to Merle Hay Mall and into downtown Des Moines from there. In addition, it may not be possible to serve both Pioneer Parkway and go further north on Merle Hay Road.

We know these changes impact you, and so we want to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to fill out a short survey.
