Chula Vista Public Library Zip Books Request Form

The Chula Vista Public Library is pleased to offer Zip Books, a free alternative to Interlibrary loan. Zip Books is a FREE SERVICE for customers to request books that are not owned by CVPL. The items are shipped directly to your home via Amazon Prime. Once you’ve read them, please return them to any Chula Vista Public Library ACCOUNTS DESK.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

A valid ADULT Chula Vista Public Library card.
Your library card account must be in good standing (no more than $5 in fines).
A valid email address.
Requested items must be physical books and must not already be in the collection.
Items must not exceed $50 each (sales tax not included).
You may have only FIVE active Zip Books items at a time.
Titles must be eligible through Amazon Prime.

Additional restrictions may be applied at the Library’s discretion. The Zip Books Program is funded by the California State Library.
