Call for Proposals

Applications are now open to submit a proposal to present at the 2023 Community Violence Intervention Conference on June 26 and 27 in Los Angeles, California, hosted by Giffords Center for Violence Intervention.

Our inaugural CVI Conference will bring together more than 600 subject-matter experts from both the US and abroad, including survivors, practitioners, researchers, policymakers, advocates, and frontline workers to share insights, struggles, and opportunities in a collaborative environment.

The 2023 CVI Conference is an invaluable chance to share the mission and work of your organization with key members of the movement. We’re looking to the CVI community to help us set the conference’s agenda by hosting trainings, workshops, panel discussions, and more—formats are flexible and creativity is encouraged.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal to present at the conference, please complete this application with as much detail as possible. Presenters will be selected by an advisory committee of national CVI practitioners and experts representing a range of organizations.
