The Chicago Theater (un)Conference is entirely community created. You can volunteer to run a session yourself or just make a request we find a cool speaker to address a particular topic you are interested in.
The conference session days are Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th.
Sessions are 60 minutes in length. (90 minutes for a panel discussion)
The speaker is strongly recommended to keep the presentation limited to 20 minutes to encourage questions, interactions and brainstorming.
We have one space with a projector if you want to Powerpoint at us. We encourage you to not do this :)
The more specific the topic, the better.
They do not have to be a standard presentation. Previous years have also included Feldenkrais warmups for the day, interactive storytelling exercises and budget reviews for proposed productions.
