We are looking for European projects that are trying to combat antisemitism in football. We hope you can help us find them.
In June 2019, the Anne Frank House, Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord Rotterdam and Fare network launched “Changing the Chants” an EU-wide project to combat antisemitism in football through educational initiatives and law enforcement measures.
With its global reach, football has the potential to play a central role in addressing all forms of discrimination, including antisemitism, on and off the pitch. However, with incidents of discrimination rarely out of the news, there is much work to be done.
As part of our research into what provision already exists across the game in Europe, we would be grateful if you could fill in the short survey which will help us map out what is being done, what could be done differently and what the challenges are, with a view to publishing a compendium of law-enforcement and educational measures and supportive guidelines in 2020.
With your support, we hope to ultimately create a toolkit of best practice that can further support football clubs, associations and its supporters across Europe in the important work of addressing all forms of discrimination, including antisemitism.
