CSU Summer Short Course: Accelerate Climate Resilience with Local Planning, Policies and Practices

Thank you for providing feedback prior to our upcoming short course.
Please respond by Wednesday, July 20, 2016, if possible. Responses will be open until August 26th.

Communities across the US are completing climate risk assessments and climate adaptation plans. However, implementation is happening at a slow pace. Applying climate resilience principles to existing plans, policies and practices can be a quick and effective way to move from planning into action. A wide variety of potential influence points includes decisions for local, state and tribal governance, plus various agencies, corporations, utilities, and organizations.

To set the stage for our four part short course, we are seeking your feedback on your objectives, activities and challenges related to implementation of your adaptation strategies. Please provide your opinions below and plan to join us for the following four part short course:
July 21, 2016 -  Taking Action on Resilience Opportunities with Existing Plans, Policies and Practices
Aug 4, 2016 - Creating Lasting Resilience with Comprehensive Plans and Targeted Revisions to Land Use Codes and Ordinances
Aug 18, 2016 - Climate Resilience for Integrated Water Resource Management
Sept 1, 2016 - Upgrade Your Hazard Mitigation Plans to Climate Ready and FEMA Funding Eligible

Please feel free to share this feedback opportunity with your colleagues. For more information about the upcoming short course contact Alyx@mfpp.org.  Thank you for your time and contribution to climate resilience.
