This fun new workshop takes place over two days. On day one, students will build their own Critterbot—a new robotic species made from found and recycled mechanical pieces (a.k.a. junk!). On day two, students will write the “origin story” and design a trading card for their new species. This workshop will challenge each student’s imagination with a STEM-based building exercise, spark storytelling and writing skills, and culminate in a digital design exercise. Students will finish class with a new species of Critterbot they can immediately take home, and receive a set of trading cards in the mail that includes all of their classmates creations!
