County Park Explorer Shuttle Program

San Mateo County Parks Department wants to provide free shuttle service on weekends using two 20-passenger County Park Explorer Shuttle Buses.  We are seeking grant funds to pay for this program. One shuttle would start at East Palo Alto City Hall and end at Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve in Redwood City.  The other shuttle would start at the Menlo Park Marketplace Park and end at Wunderlich County Park in Woodside.  Both shuttles would also stop at  the Fair Oaks Community Center and Redwood City Transit Center.  The shuttles will operate on a continuous loop, providing five or seven round trips each day.

Park partners including Friends of Edgewood and Friends of Huddart and Wunderlich County Parks will coordinate their weekend activities to align with shuttle arrival times.
