2016 Council Elections
The Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science has opened elections for 3 positions. Elected candidates will take office in September 17, 2016.
· Councilor-at-Large (1 position; 3-year term)
Position responsibilities include: Member of Leadership Council; Chair of Program Committee, liaison to Conference Planning Committees (State of the Science Nursing Congress and Special Topics), and liaison to special CANS initiatives.
· Nominations Committee (2 positions; 2-year term)
Position responsibilities include: Soliciting nominations, verifying members’ eligibility for office, and determining the election slate. The completed slate shall be presented to the Leadership Council for approval.
· Councilor-at-Large (1 position; 3-year term)
