Fairfield Common School Restoration Feasibility Project

Community Survey

The Common School was built in 1809 as the Community Hall and is an important historical landmark in Fairfield Center. The Town has supported a working group of the community to study the feasibility of restoring the Common School as an asset in our community.

The Town of Fairfield received a grant to study the feasibility of restoring the Common School by further developing architectural schematic designs and cost estimates around a community vision. The Common School Working Group identified uses for the building intended to fulfill a variety of community needs. Let us know if we are on the right track!
