Allergic reactions are understandably something parents and educators may be concerned about, specifically potential allergic reactions to dogs within our school environments. Officer Brenes, our SRO and Charlie’s dog handler, is required to meet cleanliness and grooming requirements in order to minimize allergic contact. Charlie, our Comfort K9 Dog, will only be put in situations where students voluntarily participate, thus avoiding risky contact.

  • If there is an objection or allergy to your child being around Comfort K9 Charlie, you can let us know by completing this survey.
  • If you have no issue or objection to your child interacting with our Comfort K9 Charlie, NO ACTION is required on your part.
