Kia ora and welcome.
Coast Watch is a community-led initiative helping to care for Te Tau Ihu’s beautiful and fragile coastline.
We bring together people who care about our ocean — from fishers and divers to kayakers and walkers — to upskill, share knowledge, and work alongside agencies that protect our marine environment.

At present, Coast Watch is operating in the Nelson / Whakatū area.
However, we’re currently seeking expressions of interest from across the wider region — including Motueka and Mohua / Golden Bay — and may offer future workshops in these areas if there’s strong community interest.

This form lets you register your interest in future Coast Watch workshops or volunteer opportunities.
You’re not joining anything yet — just putting your hand up to learn more.
