Coast Watch – Te Tau Ihu Expression of Interest |
Kia ora and welcome.
Coast Watch is a community-led initiative helping to care for Te Tau Ihu’s beautiful and fragile coastline.
We bring together people who care about our ocean — from fishers and divers to kayakers and walkers — to upskill, share knowledge, and work alongside agencies that protect our marine environment.

At present, Coast Watch is operating in the Nelson / Whakatū area.
However, we’re currently seeking expressions of interest from across the wider region — including Motueka and Mohua / Golden Bay — and may offer future workshops in these areas if there’s strong community interest.
