St. Augustine Design Guidelines Survey 2 |
The City of St. Augustine is in the process of updating the current architectural design guidelines for historic preservation, and we are seeking your feedback. The design guidelines are used to evaluate changes to historic buildings, new construction in historic districts, and demolitions in St. Augustine.
The City conducted an initial survey in August 2021 to get general feedback about the updates. That survey indicated people wanted to retain the overall character of the historic neighborhoods including the architectural character. Especially important to people is keeping the scale of the historic buildings, the appearance of the historic buildings and the feel of the streetscape and public areas, including trees.
This survey builds on the first survey and will help the City further define the guideline updates. This survey should take less than 15 minutes. We appreciate your time so that we can better serve you.
