Survey Background

The City of St. Augustine is in the process of updating the current architectural design guidelines for historic preservation, and we are seeking your feedback. The design guidelines are used to evaluate changes to historic buildings, new construction in historic districts, and demolitions in St. Augustine.

For the purpose of this survey, when the words “historic” and “older areas” are used they include commercial and residential areas of St. Augustine such as the Spanish Colonial downtown and areas south of King Street including Lincolnville, north of King Street including Model Land, North City, Abbott Tract, Nelmar Terrace and Fullerwood areas; and also Anastasia Island and West Augustine.

Thank you for your time in completing this survey.
