Current State and Roadmap of Telecommunications Technologies in Electric Power Utilities

Dear colleagues,

We extend a warm welcome to the survey conducted by the Study Committee D2 Advisory Group 03 (AG D2.03) focused on "Telecommunications Technologies in Electric Power Utilities: Current Status and Future Directions." We sincerely appreciate your valuable time and effort in participating in this survey.

It holds great significance for AG D2.03 to gain insights into the existing state and future plans regarding telecommunications technologies within Electric Power Utilities (EPUs). This information will enable the AG to form Work Groups and produce technical brochures tailored to the specific needs of EPUs.

Through this survey, AG D2.03 aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the progress made by EPUs in transitioning from older, legacy technologies to more advanced ones. It will also pinpoint areas where there are gaps or challenges. This knowledge will guide the AG in creating tutorials and webinar topics that directly address the real obstacles faced by EPUs.

The survey covers a wide range of questions that touch on multiple aspects. Therefore, we encourage you to involve colleagues from various departments when responding to ensure the AG receives the most informed and comprehensive answers.
