Last May, the first Cultural Heritage Tourism Exchange was held as a way for Partners in Tourism - an alliance of 29 federal agencies and national organizations engaged in cultural heritage tourism activities – to identify interests and needs of practitioners from around the U.S. The one-day forum resulted in a list of recommendations, many of which have been acted on or initiated. Now, we need your help to set the agenda for the 2012 Cultural Heritage Tourism Exchange – scheduled as a day and half networking forum on May 3 and 4, 2012 in Washington, DC.
To ensure that the program reflects timely topics for this year and allows for maximum information exchange and networking, we ask you to complete this survey to form the agenda and provide a platform for discussion. Even if you are unable to attend, please answer the questions that follow so your opinions may be recorded.
Please answer the following 20 questions by APRIL 1, 2012; the questionnaire should take about 20 minutes to complete. Some questions are repeated from last year's survey, but new questions have also been added to build on/respond to industry developments.
Responses will be aggregated into a summary document to jump start conversations at the Cultural Heritage Tourism Exchange on May 3-4 in Washington and posted on the Exchange 2012 website late April. At the end of this survey, you will have the opportunity to request a copy of the survey findings report.
