From fear to loneliness to frustration to grief, it’s safe to say many of us have faced a wide range of emotions over the last few years and in the height of a pandemic, political unrest, tragedies at schools, war, and so much more.

At CHMK, we realize that our campers and staff are in need of more support from the camp leadership this season to assist in providing an inclusive and supportive camp community where we can all rely on one another to push through the physical and emotional stressors of this current climate.

Mental health is a top priority for CHMK this season and we would love to gain an understanding of where our staff stands as they head into training, so we can best provide a foundation of support and set up our team for success.

Additional support, more breaks, and frequent check-ins will occur this season, including resources for our staff to speak to mental health professionals as needed. We ask that you please fill in the survey with accuracy and honesty and do not skip any questions. Please understand that the information collected will remain private and not shared outside of the CHMK leadership team led by Ian, Sara, and Alex.
