The purpose of the Early Career Academics (ECA) Committee is to provide oversight of programs, offerings and events to support the development of public health professionals in academia and in the early stages of public health teaching.

Catch up Cafe
The Catch up cafe was piloted in 2024 to connect early career academics and public health professionals from across Australasia.

The cafe is run each month and may have a theme or a special guest/presenter to explore areas of interest.

Staff and current students from CAPHIA's member institutions are eligible to join the Catch Up Cafe.
