The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) invites individuals to express their interest to attend the public forums on the Draft Pharmacist Capability Framework (due for public release in early November) to complete this EOI form by COB 26 September 2025.
To ensure a broad and balanced range of perspectives and contribution to the development of the framework, attendance at the public forums will be by invitation only.

The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) has been appointed by the Pharmacy Board of Australia (the Board) to develop a Pharmacist Capability Framework (the Framework). The Framework, announced by the Board in late 2024, will describe the entry-level capabilities of a newly registered pharmacist who is adaptable to future practice change.
The Framework serves a dual purpose to support:
- APC’s accreditation functions
- the Pharmacy Board’s regulatory functions (including registering pharmacists)
APC is facilitating the development of the Framework through direct consultation with key stakeholders, professional organisations, government, other relevant regulatory authorities and consumers.

- Provide an opportunity for participants to engage with the content of the draft Framework
- Gather meaningful and constructive feedback from participants on the draft Framework
- Create a collaborative space for open discussion
