Empire State Development is working with a consultant team to develop a vision and strategy for the next decade of investment and growth within the Canalside District and along the Buffalo waterfront (see map below).
Building on nearly 30 years of investment, this project will explore opportunities for new land uses and development, enhancements to public spaces and streets, and improved connections between Canalside, adjacent neighborhoods, and downtown Buffalo.
We want to hear from you. This survey asks about your relationship with the Canalside District, how you use and experience the area today, and your priorities and goals for its future. Your input will help inform the vision and recommendations developed through this process.
