The 2022 Election:  What Do You Want to Know from Candidates?

We want our campaign coverage to consist of what is most important and helpful to you as a voter. Help us formulate the tough questions you want candidates to answer in the upcoming local races, and we'll do our best to get them answered.

All survey questions are optional and all answers anonymous (unless you provide your email address in the answers to questions 11 or 17.)

1.What issue or issues do you most want the candidates to be discussing as they seek your support in the upcoming City Council election?

3.How about candidates for school board? What issue or issues do you most want them to address?

5.Why are these topics important to you?  What, from your own experiences, informs your concerns about these topics? For example, you had a bad experience in dealing with the  city building department, or you have a child in special education and have strong feelings about that program.

7.What type of coverage by our reporters would most help you with your voting decisions?  For example, profiles of candidates and their life story, charts that compare positions on issues, multiple stories that each focus on candidates' views on a single issue, coverage of debates, stories on campaign finances, etc.?
