Thank you for your interest to support DIA Europe 2024 as a student* volunteer.
 
 
DIA Europe is the largest, neutral, Life Science Event in Europe. The conference is going to take place 12-14 March 2024 in Brussels, Belgium. More about DIA Europe here.
 
Your support will be valuable as we aim to provide the participants a great experience onsite. 
 
We will prepare a duty schedule and you will be asked to work between 1.5 to 2 days. The volunteer briefing is going to take place on Monday, 11 March 2024 (12:30-13:30), attendance is mandatory.

DIA is launching a new concept for volunteers with mini jobs. You have an option to indicate which tasks you are interested in the most and we are going to do our best to accommodate your preferences. 
 
Mini Jobs
 
- Entrance Control & Badge Distribution (4 volunteers)
- Session Room Support (14 volunteers)
- Marketing (3 volunteers - 1/ day)
- DIA Booth & Surveying (4 volunteers - 2 volunteers/day)

 
In exchange for your support, we will provide you:
 
- Invitation to attend the Leader of Tomorrow Programme (LoT) on Monday, 11 March 2024 (first come first served bases)
- an opportunity  to attend DIA Europe including the Professional Development Track when you are not on duty (session recordings will be available after the meeting)
- access to the Volunteer Lounge where you will be provided with lunch and coffee breaks for three days
- a certificate for your contribution
- For outstanding contribution DIA will write a recommendation that will appear on your profile. 
 
We hope this opportunity will also provide you a sneak peek into DIA Europe 2024 and network with our important stakeholders and speakers.

*The student volunteer opportunity is available only for full time students. 
Undergraduate, graduate or PhD students (aged less than 32) who can demonstrate that they are enrolled in a full-time degree or certificate granting, academic programme in a recognised academic institution, or individuals currently conducting a full-time internship at the time of registration and start of the meeting.

Once DIA accepts your application as volunteer, you are asked to complete your travel and accommodation booking (unless you are local) within 2 weeks and to send DIA the relevant proof of your booking. Only then, your volunteer application is confirmed.
